Mimi Wifi Speaker

There are plenty of ways to take your music around the house on the market (we usually prefer to just turn it up so the whole house shakes), but few of them are as effortless and sleek as this diminutive little darling, the Mimi Wireless Speaker. Smaller than your mug of tea and considerably better to listen to, this wireless wonder with a 30m range lets you take the tunes on your computer for a turn about the grounds with great quality sound and a super-cool look.

All you have to do is insert the USB dongle (if ever a word needed to be fast-tracked into the OED, it is this one) into your computer, turn on the speakers and place Mimi wherever you fancy having her. That's right folks, it's a 'her'. Having it linked up to your computer means you can take your iTunes library, any playlists you've created, and even Spotify to wherever you need it around the house. If you're after something a little more traditional though, you can always use the included wire to connect the speaker to your MP3 player or walkman for ad-hoc amplification.

The sound quality is pretty amazing for such a small package, and the 1.5w stereo speakers pack a surprisingly hefty punch. The 8 selectable channels also make it easier to ensure that no pesky interference gets in the way of your listening enjoyment. Perhaps the best feature though, is that you can use loads of Mimis together to transport the sound all over the place. One in the lounge, one in the kitchen, another in the garden - perfect for parties or just making your house dance to the same beat. You can have up to 30 playing from the same computer source, but unless you live in a mansion and insist on wandering betwixt rooms all day, you'll probably manage with two or three. The battery is rechargeable via USB and will last you a good 6 hours at full charge, so there's plenty to be going on with.

Mimi is tiny, sleek and ready to be put anywhere that needs a little bit of music therapy.
